Position #1) 

Diesel Overhead Doors in Calgary, AB has an immediate opening and now hiring a Lead Commercial Overhead Door Technician. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Lead Commercial Garage Door Technician will service, repair and install commercial overhead doors. This role is a permanent, full time position.

Position #2) **Filled as of October 2023**

Diesel Overhead Doors in Calgary, AB has an immediate opening and now hiring a Commercial Overhead Door Technician HELPER. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Commercial Garage Door Technician Helper will assist with and train to service, repair and install commercial overhead doors. This role is a permanent, full time position.
 

SKILLS REQUIRED
 

· Preference to 2+ years experience an asset as a Lead Overhead Door Technician ; will train any Helper applicant on the job

· Customer service minded

· Strong work ethic, team player and positive attitude

· Good communication and problem-solving skills

· Comfortable with heights (ladders & lifts)

· Good physical condition (must be able to lift 75+ lbs)

· Able to work outdoors in every weather condition

· Strong safety mindset

· Willing and able to successfully complete pre-site access requirements

 

Qualifications

 Lead Hand Experience:

· Service, Repair and Installation of Overhead Doors (Sectional, Rolling Steel, High Speed, Fire   Doors, Bi-Fold - willing to train if not experienced on all)

· Must Possess a valid Alberta driver’s license and provide a Drivers Abstract

Asset but not required:

· CDI (Canadian Door Institute) Certification is an asset but not a requirement

· Relevant safety training and tickets are a huge asset (ie: OSSA Fall Protection, OSSA Elevated Work Platform, Standard First Aid, H2S, CSTS, Zoomboom, etc) 

· Safety minded 

· Able to travel and pass all site requirements
